Jeff began his insurance career at Motorists Mutual Insurance. In 1988, he became a commercial lines producer and CSR for Putnam Insurance. After several successful years as a producer, he became the president of Putnam Insurance when Jim Putnam retired. In 2002, when Putnam Insurance merged with the R C White Insurance Agency, he became the president of the newly formed Putnam White Lewis Insurance Agency, where he also serves as a commercial lines producer.

Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in 1982 from Wittenberg University. He is a licensed property and casualty agent, as well as a life and health agent, and he has held the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor since 1991.

Jeff is an active volunteer serving on the Upper Arlington Civic Association from 2007-2009, a PIA of Ohio Board Member from 2002-2014, and the PIA National Board from 2012-2015. He has also served on the Western Reserve Group Agents Advisory Board from 1993-1994 and again from 2003-2004. Jeff received the PIA National Presidential Citation in 2014.
